Fine quality carriage clock manufactured by Drocourt of Paris.
The brass case is of fine quality with a lovely warm gilt finish.
The dial is of white enamel and displays Roman numerals. The dial has an engraved gilt brass mask. The hands are of blued steel.
The movement is half striking and repeating and runs for 8 – Days. The silvered platform is the original with ‘fishtail’ lever escapement, split compensating balance and blued balance spring.
The case and movement are numbered with Drocourts serial number of 9610. The clock dates from approximately 1870
The clock is offered for sale fully restored and ready to go.
