A fine example of a classic design vintage watch by Jaeger Le Coultre.
The case is of 9ct gold and marked as made by ‘Dennison’.
This classic 1950’s watch has lovely soft curved ‘teardrop’ lugs to the discrete 9 ct case. The case measures in at a lovely small 33mm diameter (excluding crown) and approximately 10mm thick.
The (restored) champagne dial has applied gilt Arabic numerals and is signed ‘Jaeger Le Coultre’ ‘Swiss’. The time is displayed with gilt hour and minute hands and a fine sweep seconds hand.
The 16 jewel manual wind movement is a rhodium-plated finished example of Jaeger’s in house calibre P478C and is offered fully working and keeping good time.
The watch is fitted with a high-quality croc grain leather strap.
